Madagascar

IFAD’s interventions in Madagascar are designed to stimulate the economic development of the country’s poorest regions by ensuring that the most disadvantaged producers participate in the growth of the rural sector. IFAD supports the Government in optimizing the potential of vulnerable areas and integrating them into programmes of regional and national growth by improving poor people’s access to resources and services, diversifying and stimulating agricultural productivity and improving market access, and strengthening farmers’ organizations.
