IFAD’s projects in the Comoros support the Government in implementing its growth and poverty reduction strategy and thereby contribute to the reconciliation process within the country. IFAD helps rural communities and their organizations develop income-generating activities, agricultural or otherwise, and improve food production, processing and marketing. All interventions are underpinned by the need for sustainable natural resource management.
