PROSUME: Objectives and results expected
Objectives:
Strengthen the capabilities of project teams and staff from key ministries on monitoring and evaluation
Improve the capabilities of regional institutions and local organizations in order to build in the region a network of competence in monitoring and evaluation able to support IFAD funded projects and programmes
Generate relevant information for programme officer to make easily decisions thanks to a per formant system of monitoring and evaluation including gender and targeting aspects
Develop learning and sharing of information, of knowledge and good practices in terms of monitoring and evaluation ant to contribute thus in a much more effective use of aid.
Results expected :
Measure the results and impacts of programmes and projects on beneficiaries
Popularize the indicators developed within the frame of Results Impacts Management System (RIMS)
On termination, a network of institutions qualified should be established in the region and should provide timely and quality services in monitoring and evaluation for projects and programmes support by IFAD. An on line assistance service will be created thanks to the FIDAfrique website and tools developed within the programme will be put at the disposal of the network members.
