To improve the mechanisms of monitoring and evaluation of IFAD supported projects in West and Central Africa
The international Fund for Agricultural Development granted USD 1.4 million to West Africa Rural Foundation (WARF) to coordinate and manage the Programme Support for Monitoring and Evaluation Systems (PROSUME) in West and Central Africa.
Commenced on 16 June 2007, this four year programme aims to improve the performances and impacts of projects and programmes funded by IFAD in West and Central Africa.
It should allow the establishment of complementarily between other initiatives launched in the region particularly the Management Capacity Strengthening Programme (MCSP), the regional network of management and sharing of knowledge, FIDAfrique and the regional platforms for rural Development in West and Central Africa (the HUB).
