Fidafrique Training from 6-10 November 2006

Four participants from the Gambia attended the workshop in Ghana

Four Gambians namely Mr Lamin Touray -PIWAMP, Mrs Ramatoulie H. Sanyang -PIWAMP, Mrs Fatou Manjang -RFCIP, and Mrs Fatou Mbye-RFCIP are attended a Fidafrique training programme in Ghana. The training is for the Fidafrique focal points involved in projects in the Anglophone countries Gambia, Ghana, and Nigeria and in Burkina Faso. This training is to build the capacity of participants in the following skills:

  • We-base authoring techniques;
  • Collaborative and participatory web editor management;
  • Use of various tools developed by Fidafrique (mailing, Internet services management, etc.)

The training took place at the BusyInternet premises at Accra, Ghana. This training aimed at:

1 - Achieving the capacity to update information on project spaces (web site) through the site administrative interface. (Understand how to organise and write up this information so that it is presented in a manner best suited for the web site)

2 - Presenting the Internet services made available by Fidafrique to the projects and advising participants on an individual basis on how to use them.

The training lasted for five days and run from 8.00AM to 5.00 PM.
