Its purpose was to demonstrate that communication for development is an essential approach for responding to the most urgent challenges of development, and to suggest that, therefore, it should be more fully integrated into the practice and the politics of development. Discussions and presentations focused on what works, what doesn’t, and how communication for development contributes to better development.
