Popularize, Produce, Disseminate! Reference sheets for field researchers
A tool from IDRC rural poverty and environment program
These sheets are the first instalment in the development of a multimedia toolbox designed to help researchers who have no training in communications - particularly in the production aspect - become more effective in disseminating their research. Fourteen reference sheets deal with various communication processes and provide tools that can be used in the field: 1) Developing a Communications Strategy, 2) The Production Process, 3) Working with Partners, 4) The Validation Process: Pre-testing, 5) Mass Media, 6) Scientific Popularization, 7) Using Images: Photographs and Illustrations, 8) Leaflets, 9) Pamphlets, 10)Newsletters, 11) Theatre, 12) Radio, 13) Video, 14) Internet.
