FIDAfrique Steering Committee approved the 18-month work programme

FIDAfrique Steering Committee completed on 16 June in Dakar, at WARF headquarters, its first meeting.

The agenda focused on the work plan (July 2009 to December 2010) and the funding process.

The Steering Committee members were identified during the launch workshop in Nairobi last April. Each of the two geographical areas (West and Central Africa, Eastern and Southern Africa) is present throughout projects, governments, organizations and subregional coordination. IFAD and international partners (CTA) also sit. WARF, recipient of the grant and general coordinator of the network, provides the secretariat of the committee.
